BIMP-EAGA by the Numbers

BIMP-EAGA’s economy has become more vibrant thanks to initiatives in the last 25 years. The subregion’s economy grew by 5.7% in 2017 as the combined gross domestic product reached $287 billion.

To further boost growth, BIMP-EAGA has a rolling pipeline of 72 priority infrastructure projects worth $23.27 billion through 2025. Majority of the projects will continue to improve transport, power, and ICT connectivity in priority economic corridors.
